Here’s a festive fall idea for easily impressionable guests. Hollow out a tankard-size pumpkin*. Pour in your favorite cheap malt beverage, along with a dash of nutmeg and cinnamon – voila! Culture and conversation and for the fraction of the cost of fancy autumn micro-brews.
*If small pumpkins are unavailable, gourds are a suitable substitute. No turnips, please.
